Today we've
woken up very early, at 6:15. We have prepared all our snow clothes and we have
gone school. There, we have taken a bus to go to Le Jura, in the North of the
Alps. I fell asleep in the bus and when I woke up everything around us was
covered with snow! There we have taken the snow-shoes in a small shop and we
have started snow-shoeing in the snow. I have loved it. It has been tiring
because it was a long distance and we have been hungry for a long time, but it's worth it. The views
were amazing and the mountain was really beautiful too. It's been funny even
though the Italian students and their partners have been a bit rude sometimes.
The weather has been good all day, not very cold and a bit sunny sometimes. After
returning our shoes to the shop (luckily I haven't gotten wet at all) , we have
been taken to canteen to have lunch (we really needed it). Afterwards, we have
been taken to a "fromagerie", where we have watched all the process
to make cheese and buy a portion of it
at the end. Finally, we have returned school by bus. It's been a really funny
trip because Sergio and Ali have been singing flamenco songs. Then we have returned home by car.
For dinner we have had "raclette", a typical French dish from the mountain. It consists of melted cheese with potatoes, cold meet and pickles: just delicious. After having dinner I have started packing because tomorrow is the last day and I don't think I will have much time to do it because we are staying until late at school. Then, we have gone directly to bed, because we are really tired.
